    • Fourth Grade Spring Program

    • “The Sasquatch School Scenario,” an original skit written by some of Central School’s fourth-grade students, was performed as part of the fourth-grade’s spring program at Gary Dickinson Performing Arts Center on May 7. The program, under the direction of vocal music instructor Dan Venner, included songs sung by the students, as well as performances with recorders and ukuleles. The story centers around Bigfoot, who is noticed by other students waiting for the school bus on the first day of school. Although different — much more hairier than the others — he is soon welcomed by the other students and they all become friends. The Central School Stingers, a choir comprised of fourth- and fifth-grade students, also performed. Constitution-Tribune Photos by Catherine Stortz Ripley
