"To Kill a Mockingbird," by Harper Lee, will be discussed. The discussion will be led by Library Director Robin Westphal, and will be held on the second floor of the Livingston County Library.

Another book discussion will be held, Tuesday April 2, at 6 p.m.

Grisham's program is on "To Kill a Mockingbird," and is being presented by the arts council in conjunction with the Livingston County Library's "One Read" event this March — the community-wide reading of the book "To Kill a Mockingbird."

The kickoff event featured a live skit, consisting of local actors, and depicting a pivotal trial scene from the Pulitzer Prize-winning piece of American literary fiction.

The company has been working on the library elevator since last Tuesday, and expect to be done by Friday. The hydraulic cylinder goes 43 feet deep beneath the library. The library elevator has not been working since the end of October 2012.
