The game’s first 11 runs were scored by Cloverleaf Cold Storage through the first three innings before Picture Perfect Landscaping avoided the shutout in the fourth and final frame despite being no-hit Monday.
Harlie Jones and Laney?Gaston did the winners’ pitching and Jones paced the hitting with a double and triple. McKenna Poling singled and led the Cloverleaf Cold Storage defense, while Devin?Dowell,?Lucy?Gaston, and Maya Snyder each singled once.
For Picture Perfect Landscaping, Taylor Lambert threw and Maddie Searcy provided good defense.
Elks 11,?Clark’s Furniture 0
Gracie Ellis threw a 2-hit shutout for Elks, while she and her teammates scored three times each in the first and third innings and five times in the fifth.
Elena Boon and Montana Hall singled for Elks with Cameron?Dudley fielding well.
For Clark’s Furniture, Alex Shipp and Mykel Heese had singles and Mackenzie Dennis fielded well. Baily Pithan and Dennis pitched.

Elks’ Ellis made it two shutouts on the night, blanking BTC?Bank on three hits over a quick-moving six innings.
Elks scored single runs in the second and fifth and two each in the fourth and top of the sixth.
Sarah Graves’ double led the Elks attack. Libby?Adkins and Cameron Dudley joined Ellis in singling and Adkins paced the team’s defense.
For BTC?Bank, losing pitcher Molly Jones doubled and Hannah Haakonstad and Abby?Jones singled. M. Jones also led the defensive play.

Jared’s Guttering 14,?Hy-Vee 8
Jared’s Guttering never trailed, plating three runs in the top of the first inning, seven in the second, and four in the third. Hy-Vee countered with two in its first and six in the second to trail only 10-8 after two, but didn’t dent th dish in the bottom of the third as the time limit was expiring Monday.
Westly?Hughes led Jared’s Gutteringwith a triple and good defense in support of his own and reliever Griff Bonderer’s pitching. Dustin Duckworth and Christian?Bratz added singles to the cause.
For Hy-Vee, Dawson Wheeler and Jamacin Carr singles were the only hits.?Brock Ward and Wheeler pitched and Wheeler paced the defense.
Dairy Queen 6,?Custom?Door 5
Down 5-0 after 11⁄2 innings,?Dairy?Queen battled back with three runs in both the second and third and won when the time limit prevented a fourth inning from beginning.
Sheldon?Rader and Austin?Dewey did the Dairy?Queen pitching, with Dewey also fielding well. Mason Baxter’s double and single topped the DQ offense, which included a single by Colby Gillespie.

Woody’s needed a run in the top of the fourth and final inning to win despite pitchers Gage Kirkland and Austin?Minnis combining on a no-hitter.
Each side plated two runs in the first and one on the second before Woody’s got the decisive tally in the fourth.
At bat, Kirkland doubled and singled and Matthew Miller and Minnis each had a single. Minnis led the defense.
