Making the best better for generations of Missouri 4-H'ers, Jim Donoho was inducted into the Missouri 4-H Hall of Fame, held at State Fair Community College.

For 35 years, Jim Donoho of Jim's Welding has graciously overseen the construction, maintenance and beautification of the Livingston County fairgrounds. He's donated the use of equipment, trucks, and business labor for countless improvements. Donoho organized and donated proceeds to the fair board from races, and truck and tractor pulls, generating conservatively more than $100,000 of net income.

At his welding shop, Donoho built bleachers and countless livestock gates — again, donating labor and supplies. His dedication to the county fair started when his children were active with 4-H projects, and continues today with his grandkids.

The Missouri 4-H Foundation recognizes individuals who have created a legacy of service to 4-H by honoring them with membership in the Missouri 4-H Hall of Fame.

"These leaders have made exceptional contributions to the lives of Missouri 4-H members," said Missouri 4-H Foundation Executive Director Cheryl Reams.

Hall of Fame inductees from 43 counties established a legacy totaling 1,625 years of service to 4-H. Family members and friends attended the sixth annual event.
