  • Maxine Bosler, 94, a resident of Mooresville, Mo., died Sunday, Oct. 4, 2012, at Indian Hills Retirement Village, Chillicothe.
    Mrs. Bosler was born the daughter of Vincil and Lucy Anderson, on Jan. 19, 1918, in Princeton, Mo. She graduated from Ravanna High School, Ravanna, Mo. After graduation she was united in marriage to Veach Pickett who preceded her in death in 1948. On Nov. 22, 1967, she was united in marriage to Paul Bosler of Mooresville, Mo. They began their life together on a farm outside of Mooresville.
    She lived in Chillicothe, Mo., from 1949 until 1969, and worked as a receptionist at the Missouri State Training School for Girls. She was a member of the First Christian in Chillicothe.
    She is survived her husband, Paul Bosler; one daughter, Trenna Pickett, of Austin, Texas; one step-son, Mark Bosler and family; two step-daughters, Brenda Bosler, and family, and Connie Bosler Allen, and family.
    Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 17, 2012, at 11 a.m., at the Ravanna Cemetery, Ravanna, Mo. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe on Tuesday, Oct. 16, 2012, from 2 p.m. until 8 p.m.
    Burial will be held at Ravanna Cemetery, Ravanna, Mo.
    Memorial contributions may be made to the Forrest O. Triplett Animal Shelter and may be left at or mailed to Lindley Funeral Home, P.O. Box 47, Chillicothe, MO 64601. Online condolences may be made at www.lindleyfuneralhomes.com.
