Leola Frances Williams, 92, a resident of Menifee, Calif., a former resident of Dawn, Mo., died Friday, Oct. 26, 2012, at Moreno Valley Community Hospital, Moreno Valley, Calif.

Leola was born the daughter of Erven and Bess (Jarvis) Tutt on Oct. 25, 1920, in Dawn, Mo. Leola was united in marriage to Harold E. "Pete" Williams on March 27, 1943, in Carrollton, Mo. He preceded her in death on Dec. 11, 1998.

She was a graduate of Stet High School. She was a member of the Palisades Church, Palisades, Calif., and was an ordained deacon for the church.

Survivors include two daughters, Cheri Melton and her husband Bob, of Menifee, Calif., and Donna Manry of Strafford, Mo.; three grandchildren, Tanya Manry, Danny Melton, and Jenny Hannum; four great grandchildren, Clayton John Manry Clark, Taylor Alyssa Melton, Cordell Lloyd Hannum, and Caylee Crystell Hannum; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Harold; and twin brother, Leland "Mike" Tutt.

Graveside services will be held at the Enon Cemetery, Dawn, Mo., on Friday, Nov. 2, 2012, at 11:30 a.m. A scheduled family visitation will be held at the Enon Baptist Church, Dawn, Mo., on Friday, Nov. 2, 2012, from 10 until 11:15 a.m. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Mo., on Thursday, Nov. 1, 2012, from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m.
