The City of Chillicothe held their 12th annual BooFest Wednesday afternoon (Oct. 31) around the city's downtown square. One of the most popular areas at BooFest was again the Livingston County Library's free book giveaway. The waiting line stretched west along Clay Street, and then south down Washington Street, as far back as the KCHI Radio building. Said Library Director Robin Westphal, approximately 900 books were purchased for the event, at a cost of $4 per boook for the library.
