The Chillicothe FFA capped off a great 2012 Barnwarming event, raising more than $25,000 to cover chapter operations.
The organization held its annual Barnwarming festivities on Saturday, with a dance, games, a hay tunnel, and the coronation ceremony.
This year's 2012 Barnwarming King and Queen were juniors Tucker Jones and Maggie Graves. The Junior Class, represented by Maggie Graves, daughter of Jason and Andrea Graves, and Tucker Jones, son of Todd and Christine Jones, raised $8,521.30 with an average of $173.90 per person.
The Senior Class, represented by Caela Ashford, daughter of Jeff and Lori Ashford, and Orren Beck, son of David and Suzi Beck, raised $6,125.14 with an average of $170.14 per person.
The Sophomore Class, represented by Carlee Johnson, daughter of Russ an Sheila Thompson, and Zach Quinn, son of Raymond and Robin Quinn, raised $4,692.00 with an average of $126.81 per person.
The Freshmen Class, represented by Marissa Surber, daughter of Cory and Stacy Surber, and Nate McKiddy, son of Terry and Ann McKiddy, raised $5,821.70 with an average of $81.99 per person.
The chapter raised $25,160.14 this year for the chapter's operations that average out to $130.36 per member.
"We would like to thank all the members of the community for the long-time support of our organization," stated FFA adviser Leda Schreiner.
