Carly Hibner (left) takes an earful from Jozie Reeter's character (center), while Matt Shaffer watches on from the background, as the CHS Players and CHS Drama Department groups practiced for this week's performances of "The Best Christmas Pageant Ever." The play was shown for R-2 students this morning (Thursday, Dec. 6) in the Gary Dickinson Performing Arts Center, and public showings will be held at that same locale this evening, Friday (Dec. 7), and Saturday (Dec. 8), starting at 7:30 p.m., each. Tickets are $2 for students and $3 for adults. The play is based upon the book of the same name by Barbara Robinson, and follows the story of six horrible children who get wrapped up in a church Christmas pageant, and eventually come to love the story of the baby Jesus, Mary and Joseph, the Wise Men, and the Angel of the Lord.
