Catching Snowballs

People reached high in the sky to catch falling snowballs Thursday evening at Silver Moon Plaza. The snowballs were actually money-saving pingpong balls dropped from a bucket truck during Main Street Chillicothe's kickoff to Christmas on the Square. Each pingpong ball was labeled with a promotion or discount from a participating downtown business. Christmas on the Square began a three-Thursday series that involves 16 downtown businesses staying open late to provide shopper convenience. Each Thursday, from now until Christmas, these businesses will be open until 8 p.m.
