Candy Drop for Kids at Silver Moon Plaza

Children scurry around the grounds of Silver Moon Plaza, gathering candy that had fallen from the sky (actually, from a bucket truck operated by Darin Newman) Thursday evening, during Main Street Chillicothe's kickoff to Christmas on the Square. Christmas on the Square began a three-Thursday series that involves 16 downtown businesses staying open late to provide shopper convenience. Each Thursday from now until Christmas, these businesses will be open until 8 p.m.
