Marlin D. Brewster, 77, of Chillicothe, Mo., died Sunday, December 16, 2012 at Hedrick Medical Center in Chillicothe.
Marlin Dewayne Brewster was born in Brookfield, Mo., on Oct. 28, 1935 the son of John William Brewster and Melita Alice Carriker Brewster.
He was a veteran of the United States Army and served from 1958 thru 1964 where he attained the rank of E-4.
Marlin was a postal carrier for the United States Postal Service and worked in the Chillicothe area for 31 years before retiring.
He enjoyed traveling, going to concerts, listening to old country music on the radio and didn't miss a year of attending the Missouri State Fair.
He is survived by his daughter, Hope Heller and husband Tom, Kansas City, Mo.; and grandson Jonathan Ferrin, Gardener, Kan.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
There has been a cremation.
Memorial services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 29, 2012 at Heritage Funeral Home with a visitation one hour prior to the service. Burial will be at Edgewood Cemetery, Chillicothe, Mo.
