  • Betty Beemer, age 72, a resident of Chillicothe, Mo., died Wednesday, Dec. 19, 2012, at her residence.
    Betty was born the daughter of Levi and Eva (McCullough) Hague on April 29, 1940, in Half Rock, Mo. On March 29, 1972, she married Carrel Edwin Beemer in Las Vegas, Nev. He preceded her in death in 2006.
    She was a 1958 Princeton High School graduate. Betty worked as a cashier for Churchill Truck Lines Inc. for over 25 years.
    She is survived by three daughters, Pam Billings, and husband Scott, Smithville, Mo., Emily Beckett, and husband Robert, Chillicothe, Mo., Carolyn Clarke, Blue Springs, Mo.; one son, Don Beemer, and wife Jayne, Lenexa, Kan.; three granddaughters, Madison Larkin, and husband Matt, Lock Springs, Mo., Kaley Ott, Chillicothe, Mo., and Katie Beemer, Manhattan, Kan.; five grandsons, Marshall Suchsland, Hollywood, Calif., Brad Clarke, and wife Jessica, Kansas City, Mo., Brian Clarke, Shawnee, Kan., Matt Beemer, Manhattan, Kan., and Alex Beemer, Manhattan, Kan.; five great-grandchildren; four brothers, Eddie Hague, Chillicothe, Mo., Bill Hague, Spickard, Mo., Jack Hague, Chillicothe, Mo., and Jim Hague, Orrick, Mo.; three sisters, Sarah Ruth Chipps Versailles, Mo., Mary Wallace, Trenton, Mo., and Donna Wilson, Chillicothe, Mo.; and several nieces and nephews.
    She was preceded in death by her husband Carrel Beemer; her parents; five brothers, J.L. Hague, Max Hague, Dale Hague, Allen Hague, and Robert "Bob" Hague; two sisters, Helen Louise Hague and Devona Greener.
    Services will be held on Saturday, Dec. 22, 2012, at 9 a.m. at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Mo. There will be a family visitation on Friday, Dec. 21, 2012, from 5 until 7 p.m. at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Mo. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe on Friday from 12 until 9 p.m. Burial will be held Lakeside Cemetery, Sumner, Mo.
