Tickets to the fourth annual Piccadilly (entitled Piccadilly Paradise: Escape to the Islands) sold out in 15 minutes today (Tuesday), the Chillicothe Chamber of Commerce Office is reporting. Approximately 350 seats were available for this year's event, which will take place at Good Time Charlie's on Thursday, March 7, at a cost of $30 per ticket. Chamber Executive Director Lindy Chapman said that her office and Main Street Chillicothe were "amazed," and associated the quick sell-out to "the fact that [tickets] sold out that fast last year" (tickets were sold out in under six hours) and because "there was a lot of hype and talk" and "people just enjoy the event." Chapman said that persons began lining up for tickets between 7:15 and 7:20 a.m. this morning. Tickets went on sale at 8:30 a.m., and were sold out by 8:45 a.m. The move to Good Time Charlie's was made to accommodate additional seating needs. Last year's Piccadilly hosted a crowd of 307.
