My mom was in town this weekend. We were talking about weight loss and how things were going. She asked me if I had ever considered having Lap-Band Surgery. To be honest, I've thought about a lot of things that would help me take weight off, but never actually considered them. Until now that is.
My mom and I had a serious talk about it and all of the people she knows that have done it. However, to me, I feel like I would be cheating myself. I lost nearly 40lbs the summer of 2007 by watching what I ate and walking. Sister two and I walked nearly three miles every day and towards the end of the summer started running. Losing the weight is something I know I can do if I put my mind to it, but maybe I just need a little help. Is that wrong?
I'm looking for your thoughts here. Have any of you had it? Would you recommend it? Do you think it might be taking the easy way out?
On another note, I've lost 2.4 pounds since I last put my weight up!! Which means I've broken the 290's! I'm now at 289.4 which to me, is wonderful!
