Betty Chrisman, 79, a resident of Gallatin, Mo., died Saturday, Jan. 26, 2013 at Knapp Medical Center, Weslaco, Texas.
Betty was born the daughter of George and Dora (Hapes) Smith on Jan. 20, 1934 in Chula, Mo. On Aug. 20, 1955 she married Bob Chrisman in Las Vegas, Nev. He survives the home. They resided in Livingston and Daviess counties, and for the past 17 years have wintered in Mercedes, Texas.
Betty was a homemaker and also worked as a babysitter.
She is survived by her husband, Bob Chrisman; two sons, Andy Chrisman, Houston, Texas, and Randall Chrisman, Lathrop, Mo.; one daughter, Rosemary Eisaman, and husband Ron, Chillicothe, Mo.; one brother, Gene Smith, and wife Barb, Kansas City, Mo.; two grandchildren, Elizabeth Chadwick, and husband Adam, Savannah, Mo., and Alicia Eisaman, Olathe, Kan.; three great-grandchildren, Gabe, Trystan, and Bennett Chadwick, Savannah, Mo.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and four brothers, Bob, Raymond, Alf, and Henry Smith.
Services will be held Saturday, Feb. 2, 2013 at 10 a.m. at Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Mo. There is no scheduled family visitation. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Mo., on Friday, Feb. 1, 2013 from 12 until 8 p.m. Burial will be held at Edgewood Cemetery, Chillicothe, Mo.
