Vice president flag authorized

Executive Order #7284 was signed by President Franklin D. Roosevelt on February 7, 1936, authorizing an official flag for the Vice President of the United States.

On November 10, 1948, President Harry S. Truman signed Executive Order #10016 which revoked Roosevelt's Executive order and created a new official design for the Seal, Flag, and Coat of Arms for the Vice President.

This, too, was revoked in 1975. On October 7, 1975, President Gerald Ford issued Executive Order #11883 which redesigned the official Seal, Flag, and Coat of Arms of the Vice President.
