Arlene Skinner, 85, of Brookfield, Mo., died Friday, Feb. 22, 2013, at Pershing Memorial Hospital, Brookfield.
Edythe Arlene was born the daughter of Harry and Elzina (Dow) Longman on May 26, 1927, in Logan, Iowa.
Alrene had worked for Montgomery Ward in Chillicothe, and was later manager of Montgomery Ward in Brookfield until it closed. She also had worked at Tres Jolie in Brookfield for many years.
She was a member of the First Christian Church in Brookfield for over 40 years, where she was a member of CWF and had served as a Deacon.
Survivors include two sons, Dennis Skiner and wife, Roberta, and Michael Skinner and wife, Julie, all of Lebanon; four grandchildren, Christine Regan, Aaron Skinner, Amy Anderson, and Clay Skinner; six great grandchildren; one sister, Wanita Patton; and one brother, Frank Longman.
Her parents; one great grandson, Charles Anderson; one brother, Willis Longman; and one sister, Beulah Roeser, preceded her in death.
Visitation was at 1 p.m., Monday, Feb. 25, 2013, at Wright-Baker-Hill Funeral Home, Brookfield, and the family will receive friends beginning at 6 p.m., followed by a funeral service at 7 p.m. There will be a private burial.
