Q: How can I keep my balance from getting worse?
A: The “Slow Motion March” is a simple balance exercise you can do daily. Here’s how it works: While standing, raise your right knee so that it’s in line with your right hip, and hold for two counts. Lower your leg and do the same thing on your left side, as if you’re marching. Repeat on each side 20 times. Work up to holding for four beats.
