"Maintenance is definitely challenging," Garth tells People. "It's something you have to do daily. You have to remind yourself what your priorities are and remind yourself about staying healthy and living a healthy life."
Garth, who split from Peter Facinelli after 11 years of marriage in March 2012, does indulge in the occasional cupcake, but she maintains a gluten-free diet and participates in daily exercise.
