Young Veterinary Clinic, of Chillicothe, hosted a series of weigh-ins and noseprintings for steers owned by local persons this past Saturday morning (March 9). Noseprinting is necessary for steers that could advance to the State Fair. In order to show at the state level, exhibitors must have proof that they owned the steers by a certain date. Like human fingerprints, no two noseprints are the same, and can, thus, be used as proof of ownership such recorded ownership.
