Students in Tim Riekena's mathematics classes over at the Chillicothe Middle School celebrated Pi Day (based upon the value of the ratio of a circle's circumference to its diameter, and trumcated from its continuous form to 3.14) today (March 14) by eating oatmeal cream pies and seeing to how many digits past the decimal point they could memorize the number. Riekena's classes will continue the celebration during tomorrow's (March 15) early-out day, as well.
