A musical theater presentation of songs from the 1950s and 1960s was put on by the Marvelous Wonderettes — the group consisting of fictional characters Cindy Lou Huffington, Missy Miller, Betty Jean Reynolds, and Suzy Simpson — on Sunday afternoon, at Gary Dickinson Performing Arts Center. Around 30 classic hits (including "Mr. Sandman," "Lollipop," and "Stupid Cupid," among others) were performed, as the show followed the Wonderettes from their fill-in performance at the 1958 high school prom (after the men's glee club, The Crooning Crabcakes, were unable to appear due to cigarette use) to their 1968 class reunion.
