George W. Redden, 73, of Trenton, Mo., died Sunday, March 17, 2013 at his home.

George was a high school history teacher and football coach for West Nodaway, Mo., Earlham and Albia, Iowa. He also coached football at Parkhill and Trenton High School along with his grandsons little league football. He was a DEA agent for 12 years. George was an avid golfer. His favorite hobby was making military dioramas.

Survivors include his grandsons, Alex and Ayrik Redden; sisters, Glenda Larabee, Rosemary Chittim; brother, Frank Gleason and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Harvey and Margaret Gleason, brother, Harvey Gleason Jr. and son, Scott Redden.

Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, March 30, 2013 at White Chapel Funeral Home, 6600 NE Antioch Rd., Gladstone, Mo. Visitation will be one hour prior to services.
