Freshman diamond action at Cameron also scrubbed
What still could be a very busy week for the Chillicothe High School baseball Hornets has been crimped a bit by postponement of today's (Monday, April 8) previously-postponed game at Lawson.
According to Dan Nagel, CHS athletics director, a second rescheduled date was not immediately set.
The varsity Hornets still are scheduled to make up a prior rainout against St. Joseph: Bishop LeBlond at home Wednesday, as well as face Cameron on the road Thursday before playing twice in the Marshall Invitational Tournament Friday and then either once or twice at Marshall again Saturday.
The junior-varsity team has only the Thursday game against Cameron.
CHS' freshman Hornets were slated to play in the Cameron Tournament today, but that action also was postponed, due to wet grounds.
Today's other slated CHS sports competitions for the girls' soccer and boys' golf and tennis teams remained scheduled to take place, as of early afternoon.
