The Chillicothe McDonald's restaurant recently completed a renovation project that offers a new look, additional seating, and dual drive-through lanes. Several events and give-aways are scheduled for Thursday, Friday and Saturday to celebrate the completion. The renovation of Chillicothe's store began in mid-January.
"The inside has a classic look that McDonald's has instituted in many stores," said Cathie Habiger who, with her husband, Al, owns and operates the Chillicothe McDonald's restaurant, as well as several others throughout the region. "We are looking at attracting more of the 18 to 30 age group, because this is the type of clean contemporary look that they are looking for when they come to a restaurant."
The facility, however, still has warm tones and comfortable seating to appeal to a broad range of customers.
The remodeling project also added some large tables to better accommodate families, sports teams, and other larger groups.
The booths have increased in size, as well.
"That has always been a problem in the past, that you couldn't put an entire family in a booth," Cathie Habiger said. "Now, you can."
The remodel also brings a streamlined customer service operation to better guarantee that customers get what they order and receive their meals in a more efficient manner. The beverage center is enlarged so that more people can get the drinks of their choice quickly.
