  • The Chillicothe City Council will have a special meeting at noon tomorrow (Tuesday) at  City Hall to consider authorization of a building at the new hospital site, and approval of a bid  for artificial palm trees at the city’s new water park.
The hospital is requesting to place a 3,000 square-foot metal building at the northest corner of the property to be used as a maintenance/storage facility. The city’s authorization of that project has been delayed, pending research as to whether the project should have been bid to include prevailing wage.
Also tomorrow, the council is expected to take action accepting the best bid for artificial palm trees at Chilli Bay Water Park.
