When words fail me, this quote sometimes helps.

Sometimes it seems that there’s not much about which we can be happy; nothing to rejoice about.  Of course, that’s never true, but it does get difficult.  With the devastation that Oklahoma has had to face, it must be difficult for them to face each day for a long time.  Our country has so many problems and there’s so much discord in the world.  I sit here ready to write with nothing I can think of to say.  Instead I will pass on these words from Calving Coolidge.  They can sometimes bring comfort when nothing else seems to work.

"Nothing in the world can take the place of persistence.  Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent. Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb.  Education will not; the world is full of educated derelicts.  Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent.  The slogan 'press on' has solved and always will solve the problems of the human race." ~ Calvin Coolidge
