The Chillicothe R-2 Board of Education will meet for its regular June meeting tomorrow night (Tuesday).
The first meeting after the end of the 2012-13 school year, the board will hear various end-of-year reports including reports concerning elementary libraries, retention and attendance, student attitudes and interest, at-risk/gifted students, a follow-up study of Chillicothe High School/Grand River Technical School graduates, suspension and expulsion data and an assessment of the drop out and recovery program.
In old business, the board will discuss the second reading of board policies.
A number of items are listed under new business for tomorrow night's meeting. The board will consider the 2013-14 professional development calendar, as well as the 2013-14 student handbooks. The board will also consider roof bids, extra duty salary schedule, a grant application and educator's liability insurance.
The board is scheduled to set a date for a special meeting in June to adopt the 2013-14 budget.
The regular June meeting of the R-2 Board is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. tomorrow evening, June 18, at the Administrative Building.
