The Chillicothe City Council will meet for a regular meeting this Monday.
The council will host three public hearings at the meeting. The first hearing is to consider an ordinance changing zoning form C-2 to I-1 at 73 Cherry Street. The second hearing is to consider a voluntary annexation of 219 East Polk along with a resolution allowing for water and sewer hookup. The third hearing is to consider a voluntary annexation of 1301 and 1309 West Cherokee.
Jason Benson, of the SALT organization, will appear before the council with a request from SALT to use Chilli Bay Water Park for a fundraiser.
Randy Hager will lead a discussion regarding an Eagle Scout project in Simpson Park.
City Administrator Ike Holland will lead discussions regarding the following topics: the arch at Simpson Park, amending contracts with JE Dunn and Foutch Brothers, approving Quit Claim Deeds for the sale of city properties and the hiring of seven new paid-by-call firefighters.
The meeting is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Monday, June 24, in the council chambers at Chillicothe City Hall.
