  • The Grand River Historical Society Museum is again partnering with the Livingston County Steam and Gas Association on this Saturday, July 27, during the regular museum hours of  1 until 4 p.m. for a historical farm day.
The Steam and Gas Association is going to display some of their vintage tractors as well as other farm equipment.  They also will be giving demonstrations of rope making and butter preparation as well as other activities. Part of the activities will be outside and the remainder in the museum facility.
There are many displays inside the museum, including the Smithsonian’s bread slicing machine, the pioneer wagon on loan from the Steam and Gas Association, and the murals painted by Kelly Poling.
The building is located at 1401 Forest Drive — signs will be located on Washington Street at Bryan and at Bryan and McNally pointing the way.
