Finish the summer up with a fun adventure...Boomers, seniors and multigenerational travelers...this is camping in style.

Research shows that more and more grandparents are vacationing with their families and spend time with grandchildren during school summer vacation.

Many campers visiting Ohio's Hocking Hills State Park "camp out" sleeping in tents or in rustic accommodations,

However, for some family members sleeping on the ground might be uncomfortable. The Inn and Spa at Cedar Falls, located near the Old Man's Cave Campground and other camping areas, offers an option to families to enable camping fun while meeting the needs of grandma and grandpa...GRAMPing!

It allows for families to enjoy the camping lifestyle together.

While mom and dad and the kids are doing the rustic sleep on the ground in sleeping bag thing...the grandparents can rest in comfort down the road at the Inn.

GRAMPers spend the day hiking through the forests, visiting rock formations, waterfalls and caves with the "kids" and then maybe the whole family can hike over to the Inn for a wonderful dinner.

So you are worried about missing the S'mores around the campfire...not a chance as the inn will treat the family to S'mores and a campfire.

Other options included the chef will create a picnic for families to enjoy on the trail or serve lunch in the Kindred Spririts Dining Room or on the patio.

GRAMPing allows for the generations to experience the area together during the day, but then Gramps and Grams can settle in at the Inn for a good nights comfy sleep.  The park offers light to moderate hiking, a zipline canopy tour, kayaking and other outdoor adventures.

GRAMPing makes for a family trip that has something for everyone.

In addition the region offers a variety of recreational opportunities including hiking, bird watching, canoeing and fishing, as well as fantastic photo opportunities for you photographers. The Inn spa offers a long list of spa treatments and fine dinning.
