Looking for a book group where you don’t have to read an assigned book? Book Talk Live! will be held the first Thursday of every month at noon for people who love to read and want to be inspired or inspire others talking about great books that they are currently reading or have finished reading.
“Many times readers will only read a specific author or genre. Book Talk Live! will introduce readers to a variety of literature and authors as each member has the opportunity to discuss a different book,” stated Library Director Robin Westphal.
“It’s difficult sometimes to find a good book to read but we’ve found that personal suggestions are the best way to introduce readers to something new,” Westphal continued.
The Library has two traditional book groups where members all read the same book. One group meets the first Monday of the month at noon and the other meets once a month at a time determined by members.
“We hope there is enough interest in Book Talk Live! to also have an evening group,” remarked Westphal.
