The second Storybook Trail starts next week in Central Park.

Anyone walking along the trail Sept. 9 through Sept. 23 can pause to read the pages of “Autumn’s First Leaf” by Steve Metzger.

This is a good way to get people to read with Mother Nature. It's a free family-oriented activity that promotes fitness and literacy.

The Storybook Trail is cosponsored by Park Place Sign Systems, who donated the signs; and Scholastic, who donated the books.
