Chillicothe Homecoming Week reaches its pinnacle tomorrow (Friday) with a full slate of activities taking place.
The day begins with a pep rally at 9 a.m. in the high school gymnasium. The event — expected to be loud as classes vie for the spirit stick — is open to the public. Seating will be available on the east side of the gymnasium.
The Homecoming parade, with 39 entries, will be at 2:20 p.m. Friday. Lineup will be behind the middle school.
Grand marshals for the parade are CHS office staff — Marilou Wilhoit, Lisa Wilson and Marti Rogers.
The Homecoming football game starts with kickoff at 7 p.m. as the Hornets host the Bishop LeBlonde Eagles.
The introduction of Homecoming royalty will take place following the game, with the announcement of the CHS Homecoming king and queen.
