  • A huckster wagon is the newest edition of the Grand River Historical Society Museum. Mike Williams built the wagon after coming across wagon running gear. He said he decided to do research on the 1900s-era wagon and wanted to build one, finding the rest of the parts to make the wagon at yard/rummage sales. Williams said it was “fun to try to find those things.” The wagon is on long-term loan from the Livingston County Steam and Gas Association. Pictured are: Mike Williams, president of Livingston County Steam and Gas Association and new board member for the museum, and Kelly Poling and Ron Wilder, museum board members. The Huckster wagon was a store on wheels that traveled around rural areas with household items for sale.
