The Livingston County Library will be offering a series of classes introducing Facebook and Pinterest. These beginning classes will cover setting up a Facebook account, security settings, uploading pictures and posting on Facebook.
The classes will also cover Pinterest, which is a website that allows you to “pin” things online just as you would on a bulletin board. Classes will cover setting up a Pinterest account, creating boards and pinning items to boards.
The class begins Nov. 5 and continues on Tuesdays through November. Classes are held at 10 a.m. and run about an hour. Registration is required and attendance to all sessions is also required. Participants can bring their own laptop or device or use one of the library’s laptops. An email account is necessary to participate in these classes.
If you do not have an email account visit the Library prior to the first class for assistance setting up an account. Classes will be held in the Courtroom on the second floor of the Livingston County Library. Space is limited so call the Library today at 646-0547 to register.
