Well, as it is in most households, Halloween happenings are being shared: what costume, did you get a lot of candy, did you get cold and quit early?
Well, my son wore his Farmer outfit while my vegetarian toddler was dressed as a strawberry. So cute! We decided to head out early due to the fact that it had rained most of the day and it was supposed to get cooler. (Plus we have two smaller children who we like to have in bed by 8 p.m.) So we headed over to Grandma Aunt Kaye’s and by about mid trip, my little strawberry was trying to nod off in the wagon. So Mommy and sister made the treck back to the house while Dad and Mr. Farmer wondered on.
It’s amazing how in the world, but my daughter fell asleep on my shoulder as I huffed and puffed back to the house, wagonless.
It’s also amazing how much candy my 4-year-old scored. He did want some for breakfast this morning, but Mom said no - so he settled for the bag of gold fish.
