There will be a free showing at 1 p.m. today (Sunday, Nov. 24) of KCPT's “Slice of Life", a 27-minute documentary about Chillicothe. The documentary will air in January/February on KCPT, then regionally in states throughout the Midwest and beyond.
The film showcases Chillicothe, Mo., as the first place in the world to sell commercially-sliced bread, and tells the story of how small towns not only survive but thrive. Lots of local faces in this film.
You can see the film today on the big screen at Grand Six Theater. Seating is limited.
