  • Fifty high school students have begun rehearsals for the Chillicothe High School spring production, “Oklahoma!”. A Rodgers & Hammerstein favorite, “Oklahoma!” will come to the Gary Dickinson Performing Arts Center March 14-16.
Lisa Rule, CHS drama instructor, says that rehearsals are going smoothly and is pleased to have Dave Goodwin on board as the vocal and orchestra director.
To assist with the production, Rule is asking that anyone in the community who might have 1905-era costumes from centennial-type events to consider loaning or donating them to the drama department.
“We would be happy with any pioneer-era pieces: holsters, parasols, cowboy vests, long skirts, ruffled skirts, lace-up boots, clothes plain or fancy, anything would be appreciated.”
Those wishing to donate or loan may contact Lisa Rule at the high school at 646-0700 or at lrule@chillicotheschools.org.
