Harvest Days Parade

It was quite a sight when this parade of old, refurbished tractors took to the streets of Chillicothe Thursday afternoon. The parade of tractors was part of the Old-Time Harvest Days celebration, which is sponsored by the Livingston County Steam and Gas Association, and began at 3:30 p.m. from the Litton Ag Campus. The drivers maneuvered their machinery down to Washington Street, where they then drove south until approximately the location of Midwest Tire Outlet, then turned around and drove back north through Chillicothe, smiling and waving all the while. The Old-Time Harvest Days began with school classes visiting the fairgrounds today (Friday) and will continue through Sunday with a full slate of activities reminiscent of the olden days.
