The Grand River Historical Society Museum will have its quarterly meeting open to the public on Tuesday, January 10, at the Elks Lodge. The program will be presented by Ed Milbank covering the history of Milbank Mills Inc., the oldest continually operating business in Chillicothe. Milbank Mills was founded in l867 by George Milbank and Ed is the fourth generation of his family to manage the firm. This is another in the museum’s series of programs featuring local institutions which have been very popular with its members and other Chillicothe residents. The meeting will begin at 6:30 p.m. with dinner consisting of Jeff Frampton’s pork loin with all the trimmings at a cost of $10. Milbank’s program will commence at approximately 7:30 immediately following the meal. To make reservations call the Museum at 646-1341 or Ron Wilder at 646-0502. This is also the meeting when changes in the Museum board membership are voted on by its lifetime members.
