St. Columban Church will host its 44th annual Fall Festival on the church grounds this Sunday, Sept. 17, from noon to 4 p.m. There will be live entertainment featuring local talent, a cake walk, buggy rides, duck pond, tractor pull, train ride, inflatable bounce house, dunking booth, corn pit, obstacle course, inflatable slide, hoop shoot, long toss, go fish and bingo. Wrist bands will be available, $10 for children five years of age and younger, and $15 for children over five. The food court will be serving brats, pulled pork, walking tacos, funnel cakes, ice cream and others. There will be face painting, a large raffle and a Harvest Country Store that will have popular homemade goodies. The 2nd annual Quinn Memorial Fun Run and 5K Run/Walk will be held Saturday, Sept. 16. This event is being held in conjunction with the St. Columban’s Fall Festival in order to fund a scholarship in memory of Bishop Hogan students Abby Quinn Boies and Joshua Quinn to be given to a Bishop Hogan graduate to help further their education. This year’s event features online registration, electronic chip timing, finish line arch, chutes and a race clock as well as event and online timing posts. All runners and walkers are welcome.
