The 31st annual Old-Time Harvest Days will be held this weekend, on September 22-23 at the Livingston County Fairgrounds, and is sponsored by the Livingston County Steam and Gas Association.

The 31st annual Old-Time Harvest Days will be held this weekend, on September 22-23 at the Livingston County Fairgrounds, and is sponsored by the Livingston County Steam and Gas Association. There will be a large garden tractor and tractor display, a washing machine, sewing machine and washboard contest. Cash prizes will be awarded for Best of Show, Most Original, Best Restored and Most Unusual. All family oriented exhibits and demonstrations are welcome and there is no charge for exhibitors. Shows and displays include: Apron Show, Parade of Power, Classic and Antique tractor displays, treating, rope making, cider making, weaving, arts and crafts, sawmill, pedal pull,wood carving show, classic, antique car and truck displays, corn shelling and grinding, miniature farm equipment, steam engines, butter churning, quilt show, tractor rodeo, antique machinery displays, stationary baling, rug weaving, blacksmith, gas engine display, apple butter making, archery, and various working demonstrations. There will be dinner from 5 - 7 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and a food stand on the grounds. Friday September 22 is kids day at the event and coordinators are expecting 530 children to attend from local area schools. There will be a live band on Saturday, September 23 and camping on grounds is available, with electric hook ups available for $10. For reservations call 660-752-6499.
