Authorities are investigating the death of a 36-year-old woman found at a residence Tuesday evening. Livingston County Coroner Scott Lindley said that a preliminary investigation is ongoing and that, as of Wednesday afternoon, he was waiting to speak with the forensic pathologist to learn the exact cause of death. Livingston County Sheriff Steve Cox reported that his department was summoned at 7:27 p.m. to a residence on U.S. Highway 65 regarding a deceased person. The Chillicothe Department of Emergency Services was on the scene. The woman was discovered by a juvenile and the child(ren) were placed with other family, the sheriff reported. The Livingston County coroner’s office arrived to assist and took custody of the body. Lindley stated that prelimary results indicate that the cause of death was an accidental overdose.
