The Constitution-Tribune has learned that efforts have been made to establish a fund to assist the family whose house was destroyed by fire Wednesday afternoon. Bradley Baker, pastor of Turning Point Church, stated that are several opportunities for assisting the family of Devon and Amy Hand. Turning Point Church, 2971 N. Washington Street (the brick one by the highway) will be open from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m. Thursday and Friday for individuals wanting to drop off items for the family. Other arrangements can be made by contacting Baker at 660-247-1851. Those wanting to donate money should make checks payable to Turning Point Church, with “Hand Family” noted on the check. “Any and all help is appreciated,” Baker stated. This includes household items, hygiene products, and clothing. Clothing sizes are as follows: Devon: Pants (32 waist 34 length) and large shirts; Amy: Pants (size 5), and medium shirts; Isaac: Pants, (size 12) and medium shirts’ Kayden: Pants, (size 10 husky), and medium shirt.
