The Chillicothe Education Association will host the 16th annual Team Trivia Championship at the Chillicothe High School from 7 until 10 p.m. Friday, March 2. The competition will consist of several rounds of questions. Each round will cover a different topic. Teammates will work together to write as many correct answers as possible on their answer sheet within a five- to 10-minute span. When the time expires, the sheets from all teams are collected and scored. Then, a new round begins with new questions from a new topic. The trivia questions will come from an individual outside Chillicothe and no local person will have prior knowledge of the topics or questions to be asked. The team with the most points at the end of all rounds will be declared Chillicothe Team Trivia Champions. The champions will enjoy possession of the traveling trophy. Drinks and snacks will be provided. All proceeds go toward scholarships for local high school seniors. To guarantee a spot, teams are urged to submit their entries by Friday, Feb. 23. Space is limited, but walk-ins are welcome if space provides. The cost is $35 per team. Checks, payable to Chillicothe Education Association, may be mailed to Jim Wheeler, Chillicothe High School, 2801 Hornet Drive, Chillicothe, MO 64601.
