Work has begun on the 15th annual Bishop Hogan Dinner Auction, with parents, students and staff all pitching in on the effort.
This year’s theme, which dictates the menu, decorations and even attire, is ‘Roaring into Catholic Education with the Great Gatsby’. This year’s fundraiser will be Saturday, April 28, at Bishop Hogan Memorial School. Doors open at 4 p.m. for the silent auction. Dinner, sponsored and catered by Hy-Vee, will be served at 6:30 p.m., followed by the live auction around 7:30 p.m. Tickets for the dinner are $10 each in advance or $15 the night of the event. Advance tickets are available for purchase at the school or Lauhoff Jewelry. All dinner and auction proceeds benefit the school. “This event, which is accomplished by so much hard work, is really a fun night,” said Pam Brobst, school principal.
