Donald Baker, age 89 of Tina, Missouri passed away Thursday, October 18, 2018, at Oak Ridge Assisted Living, Richmond, Missouri.
He was born October 29, 1928, to Robert and Elva (Jones) Baker on the family farm in Hale, Missouri.
Donald attended school at Stokes Mound until the 8th grade and then went to high school in Tina. He was also a graduate of the Chillicothe business College in Chillicothe, Missouri. On November 11, 1950, he married the love of his life, Eva-Lee Long in Carrollton, Missouri.
With the exception of an 18 month stint in the United States army, Donald spent his entire life farming. He was a member of the United Church of Tina in Tina, Missouri, and the hale city Lodge #216 AF&AM.
Donald is survived by his children; son, Douglas (Becky) Baker, Hartville, Missouri; daughter, Diane (Todd) Akey, Lawson, Missouri; grandchildren, Laura Mudge, Jonathan (Amanda) Baker, Tyler (Kyndall) Akey, Aaron Baker, Taylor (Hannah) Akey; great-grandchildren, Paxton Pierce, Everlee Pierce, Edison Baker, and Weston Akey, plus an additional Great-grandson, Ridge Akey, who is still under construction; one brother, Howard (Marcella) Baker, Hale, Missouri; one sister, Alice Sue (Keith) Lee, Carrollton, Missouri; as well as several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Eva-Lee, of 67 years; his parents; and two siblings.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 26, 2018, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the United Church of Tina, Tina, Missouri.
Masonic Service will follow at 7:00 p.m. provided by hale city Lodge #216 AF&AM.
Funeral service for Donald will be held at 10:30 a.m., on Saturday, October 27, 2018, at the United Church of Tina, with Reverend Shawn Cowger and Brother Richard Colliver officiating.
Burial will be at Avalon cemetery, Avalon, Missouri. Full Military Honors will be provided by V.F.W. Post #1773 and the United States Army.

Martha J Richter
Martha J. Richter, a Wheeling, Missouri resident and a former resident of Chillicothe, Missouri, age 95, passed away at her residence, Sunday, October 21, 2018.
Martha was born the daughter of Francis Russell and Eathel (Smiley) Russell on March 12, 1023 in Laredo, Missouri. On February 21, 1939, she married Charles Richter in Unionville, Missouri. They lived in Northeast Kansas City, Missouri and Gilman city, Missouri before they moved to Chillicothe, Missouri. They lived here for 56 years before moving to Wheeling. Most of her life she was employed by Boss Manufacturing Glove Factory although she worked other various jobs in Chillicothe, as well as working in Yellowstone National park during the summer of 1996. Her love of family was her priority in life. She loved going camping and spending time with her kids, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Martha is survived by her daughter, Venita Kelley, of peculiar, Missouri and her son, Russell Richter, of wheeling, Missouri; five grandchildren, Kelly Richter, Shawn Kelley, Lisa Richter, Steve Kelley and Karma Richter; 11 great-grandchildren, 9 great-great grandchildren and one great-great-great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband of 73 years, Charles Richter, her parents, a son, Jack a granddaughter, Kelly Richter, and a great-grandson, Christopher Ashbrook.
Funeral services will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Thursday, October 25, 2018, at 1:00 p.m. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Wednesday, October 24, 2018, from 10)0 a.m. until 6:00p.m. burial will be held at Resthaven Memorial Garden, Chillicothe, Missouri.
