Livingston County Sheriff’s Department arrested Seth Alan Turbyfill, 19, of Chillicothe, Friday on a bond revocation on original charges of alleged distribution of a controlled substance near schools and possession of a controlled substance. The following day, the sheriff’s office served a felony arrest warrant on Turbyfill as well as two other subjects: Cody Michael Ireland, 18, Chula, and Jamie E. Stoner, 18, Chillicothe. Each man was charged with the alleged crimes of burglary in 1st degree, theft/stealing (property valued at more than $500 but less than $25,000) and armed criminal action, in which bond was initially placed at $50,000 cash. These allegations are for one reported burglary/theft of property on Sept. 10 at 17435 LIV 234, east of Chillicothe where the residence was occupied during the alleged burglary/theft and one or more of the suspects were allegedly armed with firearm(s) during the burglary. Items appropriated were an H&R 20 gauge shotgun, deer antlers, Stihl 66 Magnum chain saw and a Stihl 034 chain saw, property valued at least $500.
On Saturday, Linn County Sheriff Tom Parks arrested another person allegedly involved in this matter on a Livingston County arrest warrant. Arrested was Billy Robert Jenkins, 19, Chula, on alleged charges of burglary 1st degree, stealing property valued between $500 and $25,000, and armed criminal action.
All four men were being held in the Livingston County Jail in lieu of bond and were arraigned in Associate Circuit Court this morning........
